Please read this announcement in full before registering. Parents are responsible for ensuring that each player’s USCF membership is current.
October Regular published rating will be used for pairings and section placement.

Players are encouraged to arrive by 9:30 AM to allow time to settle in and receive instructions, especially for first-time tournament players. ♟️

⏱️ Time Control & Rounds
This is a 4-round Swiss event using G/25;d5 (game in 25 minutes with a 5-second delay). It is a dual-rated event and will affect both USCF-Regular and USCF Quick ratings.

🏅 Prizes
Trophies will be awarded to 1st through 5th place in each section. USCF tiebreaks will be used to determine final standings in the event of tied scores.

ℹ️ Additional Information
No-refund deadline: Once the first round is paired or begins, no refunds or credit will be issued.
No-shows forfeit their entry fees entirely.
On-site registration may be subject to an automatic 1st-round bye or unusual pairings.
A first-round forfeit will result in withdrawal from the tournament unless the TD is notified in advance.
Chess sets will be provided for all players.
Clocks may be limited, so please bring a chess clock if you have one.
Food options are available approximately 2 blocks away.
