USCF membership is required and must be active to participate.
Regular rating will be used for pairings and prize purposes only.

Important: To play in the Premier section, players must have a USCF rating of at least 1600. Players may still be eligible if their unpublished live rating is over 1600, even if their monthly rating has not yet reached 1600. The tournament director may use a provisionally rated player's live rating for section eligibility and pairings, regardless of whether it is higher or lower than the player's official rating.

The prize fund is based on 50 fully paid entries.

βΉοΈ Additional Information
No-refund deadline: Once the first round is paired or begins, no refunds or credit will be issued. No-shows forfeit entry fees entirely.
On-site registration may be assigned an automatic Round 1 bye or unusual pairings.
A forfeit of Round 1 will result in withdrawal from the tournament unless you notify the TD in advance.
Chess sets will be provided for all players, but clocks may be limited. Please bring a chess clock if you have one.
Food choices: Restaurants are located 2 blocks away.
Byes: Players may request one half-point bye. All byes must be committed before the start of Round 2.
Participant limit: Registration is limited to 50 players.
Free parking is available.

Possession of an electronic device that is turned on or makes a noise will result in forfeiture of the game.
Possession of an electronic device that is turned off will result in:
First violation: 2-minute time penalty, not exceeding half of the remaining time on the clock for the current time control
Second violation: Forfeiture of the game
